Pingy Alpha



Pingy Alpha is out,It has Been tested on XP SP3 with .NET framework 4.0!
Pingy is mass Ping tool for Bloggers and webmasters.Pingy now has a list of around 80 RPC ping servers available Includig forwarding to Ping-o-matic that sends to 14 more.
Prediction stands that you can enter more than 30.000 URL a let him Ping each one of them to 80 different services,note that it is just in alpha version which means that you will find bugs,If you find them post it in comment below!

Download process:
1.THIS APPLICATION REQUIRES NET. FRAMEWORK 4.0 CLIENT PROFILE!!
2.Download Pingy Alpha for XP!

Requirements :
XP SP3 (prerequisite for installing NET. framework 4.0 on XP)
Windows Installer 3.1 or later (prerequisite for installing NET. framework 4.0)
NET. framework 4.0 Client profile

IT SHOULD RUN ON VISTA OR WINDOWS 7 32 or 64 bit,But you are likely to encounter problems because it's only been tested on XP,so if you suceed or fail in running it on VISTA or 7 post a comment below with result!

    I insert 3000 urls and after 10 minutes the tool starts to slow down extremly. After 12 hours on a dedicated server the tool had only finished maybe 200 urls.

    It is in still in Alpha,so it contains bugs wich are not fixed yet,thank you for reporting! Maybe you should try Version 2 -

    Just one question, you ask a keyword of a name for the list of urls, it is for personnal use or will this keyword be sent to the ping engine?

    @ Ben,in Pinging Process Ping is send with two parametars,website/blog url and keyword wich describes blog.Since this is mass ping tool you should choose your keywords generaly.And if websites/blogs that you are trying to ping don't have similar subjects you can use Random Keywords such as:Reference Blog..etc. So answer is yes keyword wil be randomly choosen from the list you write and send along with adress to Ping Engine!
